If you haven't noticed yet, there's a section of this website called Advisors.

Now, you might be an adult advisor - actual or aspiring - which is basically a teacher, group leader, counselor, principal, sports coach, parent, or any individual, age 21 or older, who works with teens carrying out an environmental project. If so, first of all, you're really cool! Secondly, you might want to do two things:
1) Join our Advisors Group.
2) Create a group for your teens so that you can communicate with each other, keep track of important dates, etc.

And if you're a T4PE, well you're pretty cool yourself - go you! And you might want to get yourself one of those adult advisors. "Why?" you ask. Well, there are lots of reasons. Let me tell you a few:
1) Adult advisors have a lot of experiences to draw upon - whether or not those experiences are related to the environment or to your project - so they can offer a lot of advice (they are called advisors, remember) about a lot of things.
2) Adult advisors will let you do the project yourself, but give you recommendations or suggestions from a different point of view when you need or want it.
3) Adult advisors can help keep your team motivated and working well together.
4) Adult advisors might know the safety and health issues involved with working in the environment, which is pretty heavy stuff you might not think about initially.

I invite you to comment below about your experience either as an adult advisor or having and/or needing one.
