Project Description
The Sacramento Zoo Teens would like to build a garden box to grow different vegetables and herbs that will be used for animal enrichments at the Sacramento Zoo. These enrichments help to better the lives of the endangered species housed at the Zoo by giving them a chance to stimulate their senses and encourage their natural behaviors.

Hi Sarah,

Your project sounds awesome! I work at Prospect Park Zoo in Brooklyn, and we also work on enrichment items with our teens and students. Our teen interns actually constructed a mock-green roof this summer, and we are always working with them to come up with ways to further their interest in conservation. I hope this site is useful, and please let me know if you have any questions. Welcome!

Bottled Water

Tap water is found to be just as clean as bottled water, tastier, and less expensive.Plastics bottle production uses extreme amounts of oil (enough to power thousands of cars per year), pollution, etc. to produce a bottle only lasting momentarily. This bottle is then discarded and left not decomposing for thousands of years. Besides boycotting the companies playing us in this hoax, what else do you suggest we do to stop this scam? What methods of boycott can be proven by documents? How raise…See More
