Hi Reid,

We don't have skype here at the office, but my work email is ahague1@wcs.org- feel free to email me any questions and I'll do my best to help. I think the 12hr difference makes it difficult to find a time that I will be in the office that you will also be awake :) But if you have some sort of "chatting" capability, we can arrange a time for that.

Thanks!

Hi Reid,

I did not design the site originally, but currently monitor the maintenance of it. We actually outsourced the design of the site to a company called "Beaconfire", that works with non profits. I am not sure if this is something that would be suitable to your needs, but they are the tech support for our site. With Ning, I believe you choose which structure and add-ons you want for your site, and they can implement that for you. I hope this helps, let me know if I can do anything else.

Hi Reid,

I was just looking at your website, and am so inspired by the projects that you are involved with. I am a diver, and my love for it has led me all over the world to do so. Please let me know if there is anything I can help you with as you get familiarized with the site, or if you intend to integrate any of your initiatives with Teens for Planet Earth.

Good luck!

Pesticides

Pesticides are killing the bees and affecting many other species negatively, yet if we stop them, because of increased monoculture, specific grain pests would ravage the fields and eat everything in sight. Food would not be capable os sustainably being grown. So then, the question becomes, how do we stop the bee deaths and continue the successful farming without pesticides agriculture relies upon?See More

People's Climate March

People's Climate MarchSeptember 21st,I pull on my cap and volunteer shirt, walk to Columbus Circle Subway Station, all while simultaneously yawning. It's 7:30 in the morning. I'm already on duty. As I gaze around, I glimpse passerby in absurd and fascinating costumes. A man or a sun, a man-sun strolls along. Someone with a pointed warlock hat- not really sure what he was supposed to be.People are already here, committed to the act of defying climate change. The day progresses, my arms ache from…See More

CCD of Honey Bees

CCD of Honey BeesColony Collapse Disorder among the Honey Bees is no longer a worry of the past. It is a legitimate concern among environmentalists and researchers. Why are the colonies being lost? This is the ultimate question that must be addressed. If we ignore the increasing death of bees, we may threaten the cultivation of various foods, flowers, jeopardizing the sustenance all creatures depend on. Not only to honey bees make honey, but they pollinate fruits, vegetables, and various…See More
