“Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day. But teach a man how to fish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years.” said Charles Haas. In a materialistic world that that consumes with greed, such a quote has become true instead of just being a joke in our conversations. as Albert Einstein said in the year 1950 “ A human being is part of the whole, called by us "Universe," a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest - a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole nature in its beauty.”
Following this The Green Club was formed in Cathedral P.U college as an initiative to spread and to gain awareness and respect, about and towards the environment. “I'm not an environmentalist. I'm an Earth warrior.” said Darryl Cherney, quoted in Smithsonian, April 1990 and in the same way an army of earth warriors was formed on19.6.09.

Look into an animals eyes and tell me you don't see the innocence, purity, playfulness, and kindness within each and every one's soul. Gaze at a plant and feel the sense of its intent beauty and connection to life. Imagine a reality in which they no longer exist; it isn't a reality, it's our future. If they die out, we do too, because animal life and plants sustains human life; their kind reveals lessons and keys to life we humans have yet to learn. Don't stand by and witness the end of each…See More
