Recycle batteries! Often Walgreens has battery recycling stations, where you can just drop off your batteries, and they will recycle them properly! <3

Did you try to look it up on your town's recycling/waste removal website? If you can't find the info there, then you can actually call them to ask (that's right - call and talk to an actual person - amazing, isn't it??!!).

The TREE group is addressing just this problem this year with their anti-plastic bag campaign...Check our group site out 2 weeks from now, and we'll have a lot more information about the project.

if you go out to the store alot why not bring one of your own bags. i buy cheep nylon bags at the a&p and even at your favorite clothing store, to put my moms groceries in them instead of using a plastic bag that can harm the economy. it saves animals from suffocating in the ocean and also saves you from throwing out bags. so think about it and buy one! :)

Bottled Water

Tap water is found to be just as clean as bottled water, tastier, and less expensive.Plastics bottle production uses extreme amounts of oil (enough to power thousands of cars per year), pollution, etc. to produce a bottle only lasting momentarily. This bottle is then discarded and left not decomposing for thousands of years. Besides boycotting the companies playing us in this hoax, what else do you suggest we do to stop this scam? What methods of boycott can be proven by documents? How raise…See More

Pesticides

Pesticides are killing the bees and affecting many other species negatively, yet if we stop them, because of increased monoculture, specific grain pests would ravage the fields and eat everything in sight. Food would not be capable os sustainably being grown. So then, the question becomes, how do we stop the bee deaths and continue the successful farming without pesticides agriculture relies upon?See More
